Luckily, there is on street parking, and a large car park off the main roads up the hill from it. Most visitors park here and walk in the couple of hundred yards, past many of the TV locations, including the school, and the teacher's house. Doc Martin's house is up the hill on the other side of the village. However, it is an uphill struggle to walk out back to the car!Peter Berryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10941073132300695291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32502523.post-65028822261970258782011-04-26T10:18:28.506+12:002011-04-26T10:18:28.506+12:00Hi Peter and Margaret

During the mass exodus of the Cornish population due to the collapse of the industry in the 19th century, luckily for me!!!! my family decided to come coal mining in Manchester. However, I have contacted relatives of Cornish descent in the gold mining areas of Australia and USA. Enjoy Cornwall, I still have relatives there. If you get chance, visit Port Isaac, where the TV program Doc Martin was made. It is beautiful! My brother has a house nearby in Rock.Peter Berryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10941073132300695291noreply@blogger.com
