Level going.

0 locks and 91/2 miles& 1 tunnel, Now moored at Bridge 33.
Total of 173 locks and 158 miles and 2 Tunnels since 5th Nov 2006

Friday 23rd and the only excitement for the day was going to be the Crick tunnel at 1528 yards long. The tunnel is dead straight and you can see the other end as you enter. Like the Blisworth Tunnel it has been repaired with a new concreted section about 200yds in from the Northern end but it does not leak as much as the former so it is a bit more pleasurable travelling through it.

As we had no locks to worry about we travelled further than we normally would in a day to put us in a handy position to reach Welford. The only thing of interest at our overnight mooring was these 2 peasants in the field opposite.
