Alexandra to Lawrence

Our next POP was to be Val McGraths close to Alexandra.  The first in New Zealand was provided by Val and her late husband Noel.  Still a spritely 80 or so she has a reputation for her wonderful property and friendliness to all fellow NZMCA members.

Our one night stay soon extended to 2 due to the fabulous site meant our next trip to Lawrence was delayed so that we could enjoy the lovely location.

On to Lawrence and where we visited Gabriels Gully the site of the famous goldmine I had learned about at school and stayed on our own at a fellow NZMCA’s property while they went to a club rally.
