We were quite glad to be back on the road today after two days of being stuck in one place. The local Morrison supermarket was first on the list for a few bits and piece’s. As the parking was a bit tricky I stayed in the motorhome in case I had to move while Dot did the shopping. While waiting I was accosted by the parking attendant who I think must have been lonely and bored because even after Dot returned I couldn’t get rid of him. Eventually I managed to persuade him I had to go.

It was a pleasant run around the coast through Greenock down past Port Glasgow and the old ship building yards where a few old cranes still stand as a reminder of the past. After crossing the Firth of Clyde we skirted around the North side of Glasgow to our present location.

After getting set up on site we went for a walk to ascertain where the local bus stop is and the timetable for us to go into Glasgow tomorrow.
