18.7 Miles. Now at Gulliford Farm CL near Dawlish.
We only had a short journey today so we were in no hurry to get moving. There wasn’t much along the way to catch our eye so it was a case of going from one camp to the next. Unfortunately the description of the site in the Caravan Club handbook isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be. The public transport within a mile is actually over a mile away and down hill along a narrow lane, which is OK going out when we are fresh but coming back after a long day out wouldn’t be much fun.
Now that's an interesting sign.
The camp claims to have a WC which it has but the condition of them is far from satisfactory. The owner appears to have been repairing and painting them and just left all his gear there from his last visit. Needless to say they are filthy dirty. We have now decided to stay just one night and move onto Newton Abbott tomorrow morning.
Spring has definitely sprung.
